    Software Protection Scheme - Beta Release version 0.10 (24-Sep-92)

                           Acorn Computers 1992

This disc contains details of Acorn's proposed Software Protection Scheme,
together with sample code for you to include in your own C application,
and an application which already includes this code as an example.

The directory "Documents" contains two Impression documents as follows:

  !User - gives details of the requirements and characteristics of the
          scheme

  !Tech - gives details of some of the techniques needed to implement the
          scheme

The directory "SPcode" contains a sample implementation; the file "!!ReadMe"
inside this directory gives details of how to use this to add software
protection to your own application.

The skeleton application !SPexample can be compiled and linked to create a
protected application as an example.
